Video Tutorial by Athanasia Papantoniou
{Design Team 'Moment To Shine'}

Hi everyone. It's Heather McMahon back with you today to welcome
you to another tutorial in our Design Team 'Moment To Shine' series.

Today we have a video tutorial by Design Team member Athanasia Papantoniou
from Greece. Athanasia was inspired by our current challenge here.

We were lucky enough to see a sneak peek of Athanasia's layout in the mid-month
reveal & now she is sharing a video of how she made her stunning project.

Please let Athanasia know what you think by leaving a comment!

Athanasia created this incredible layout based on the mood board
below. She was inspired by the beautiful green shades, the ethereal photos &
the quote. Athanasia will share her creative process with us in her video.

Let's get to know a little about Athanasia...

"Hello!  My name is Athanasia (it means 'immortality' in Greek)
& I'm very happy to be on this great team! I live in Greece & I
am a music teacher in elementary school.  In my spare
time, when I am not playing the piano, I love making handicrafts,
felting, altering things & of course scrapbooking!

I love scrapbooking because it combines such a vast range of media types,
not only with memories of my life & my family, but also with emotions & ideas
that I have in my head & want desperately to express!!
My inspiration always comes from the photograph I use & the limitless
choices & combinations of mixed media techniques. I love to use gesso,
mists & stamps. Through scrapping I have found the best way to
express myself & fulfill my artistic desires. You can find my blog HERE"

Watch the video below to see how Athanasia created her layout!

Here are some closeups showing Athanasia's gorgeous details...

Athanasia has used a range of beautifully textured
products to create her amazing background.

Athanasia likes blending different media to create a mixed media
background. You can be sure there always be a lot of gesso,
mists, watercolors & stamps on her projects!

She loves to alter the chipboard pieces with embossing powders like she has
here, or with other media such as sprays, stamps & inks.

Athanasia also likes to use many different textures & material like lace, thread,
buttons, flowers, chipboard pieces, stickers & flowers on her projects.
